Dim lights in the Horizon
I reached the wall at half past six. The remains of another magnificent sunset reminded me of a great piece of art on a gigantic canvass with an assortment of colours that was purely magical if you were there beside me to share that great moment.
I occupied our usual place on the wall with two cups of coffee… and was reliving yesterday when you were there next to me. Same old crashing waves of the Indian ocean, same busy marine drive behind me and the same railway line in front, and even the trains at usual times… but nothing was same all alone there.. It was just a blank space as if I was trapped inside four walls with no windows or light…
I waited to hear from you… just few seconds at least to say hi… but I know you were busy, with meetings and dinner… but I still waited for three long hours…
Then he took over me… I fought.. Fought hard but was too weak to resist him all by myself… I needed you to fight back but I was all alone… the last thing I remember was the dim lights in the horizon of ships passing by….
And I woke up… in a strange place… I felt next to me for you… to cuddle up to your warm body… but I found nothing… When I opened my eyes, I realized I was still there… inside the car next to the wall and the time was almost five am… I was hungry, tired and worn out…
But at least I know you had a good meal and a nice bed to sleep in…
Thank God for that!
